Wude
Wude (武德) translates to "martial morality," combining the words wu (武) for martial and de (德) for morality. Wude encompasses two aspects: "Virtue of deed" and "Virtue of mind." Virtue of deed focuses on social relationships, while Virtue of mind aims to cultivate inner harmony between the emotional mind (心; Xin) and the wisdom mind (慧; Hui). The ultimate goal is achieving "no extremity" (無極; Wuji), similar to the Taoist concept of wu wei, where wisdom and emotions are in perfect balance.
