Tai Chi

Yang style Tai Chi involves a series of slow, gentle movements, physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. Originally an ancient martial art from China, Tai Chi has evolved to focus more on health promotion and rehabilitation. At its core, Tai Chi is a moving meditation, featuring gentle exercises that harmonize the mind and body. The main goal is to cultivate inner life energy to flow smoothly and powerfully through the body, making it both a spiritual and physical experience.

The instructor has experience with both Yang and Chen styles of Tai Chi, and draws from a knowledge pool of internal arts like Bagua and Xingyi, as well as 18 Luohan Palm soft arts. These classes focus on the regenerative and health aspects of these ancient methods: Restore balance, correct posture, and maintain strength into your later years.
