Kung Fu
Kung Fu refers to a collection of Chinese martial arts, encompassing both hard and soft fighting styles that have evolved over centuries.
This includes kicks, strikes, takedowns & throws, joint locks & submissions, meditation, and breathing.

Adults / Teens Kung Fu
Deep Water Kung Fu classes teach techniques transmitted from renowned styles such as Xingyi Quan and Bagua Zhang, with fundamental skills including kicking, punching, locking, and throwing. As a comprehensive physical workout, Kung Fu combines distance, timing, and other techniques to build solid self-defense abilities. Typical classes feature cardiovascular exercises, specific stretching, body conditioning, and a focus on traditional Kung Fu techniques and applications. A core emphasis is on integrating the mind with the body, promoting proper breathing, relaxation, and energy.
Students begin by completing a fundamentals course to ensure a basic required skill level is present, before starting the Intermediate Level Training. This more advanced training is by invitation, once students have been screened and developed a proper fundamental skillset.
Kung Fu classes are currently on Friday evenings at 6 pm, Sunday mornings at 11:15 am, plus Fitness / Open Training Hall sessions Monday and Wednesday at 5:45 pm.
